For the last year or so I've relished the idea of owning a leather-bound collection of Shakespeare's works. Or Steinbeck. Or Edgar Allen Poe. However, I don't quite have the whole super nice library where leather-bound books belong :(
sigh.
Enter Penguin books. Yes, they publish many fine tomes but THESE are fucking fantastic. Yay for design-y covers that won't look out of place in my ikea-like room. Seriously, 90% of my book purchasing decisions are based on cover art. And don't even get me started on book series that CHANGE THEIR COVER ART. Argh. Makes me want to punch Charlie. And just look at her:
Now you can understand my hatred, who could possibly want to punch Charlie? Me. When book publishers change the cover art.
So, uh, yeah. Where was I?
OH RIGHT! Kudos Penguin books. Check out the awesome below.
Series 1

WANT!

And could it be? This lady has so expertly designed the book I hate the most in the entire world that I actually want to OWN IT??? AGH! HOMER!! YOU BASTARD!!!!

Series 2

The Picture of Dorian Gray and Great Expectations are not only books I love but I think they are the best looking out of Series 1 AND 2. Obviously, WANT!

So incredibly amazing. Of course, because these are so awesome, you have to order them from the UK and yeah, they're priced in pounds. !2.99 you say? Try at lesat $25, depending on the currency rate.
