My old iMAC crashed recently (before I could get all my files onto my new computer, FML) so I've been deprived of my 30GB of music *CRY* Anyway, driving home today I was thinking of music I love and I remembered LOVAGE. Honestly this is the sexiest, hottest, you should be having sex to this music EVER! A bottle of wine (or 5), a hot guy (or lady), Lovage on the speakers and you are SET. I can't listen to this cd without thinking of one night in particular and fuck, it was HOTTTT (yes, extras "t"s are DEFINITELY in order). There were many drinks and it was raining . . . *SWOON*
Mike Patton is hot in a greasy, kinda scares me but I want his hands all over me way. That voice! RWOAR!
And Jennifer Charles is SMOKIN! She basically sounds like she's having an orgasm through this entire album . . . and pretty much does in the cover of Berlin's "Sex (I'm A)".
It only makes sense that these two and Dan the Automater (who is also fine in his own right) make some super delicious seksi music together and wreak havoc on my libido. Please Lovage, come back! I need new tunes for seksi times now!
My favorite songs on the album are "Strangers on a train" and "To Catch a Thief" but they never made music videos for those so here are "Book of the Month" (3rd favorite for sure) and "Stroker Ace" (you guessed it #4).

Jennifer Charles is still making music with Elysian Fields and I was lucky enough to see Mike Patton and Dan the Automator performing as Peeping Tom in Boston. Mike Patton was wearing a SWEET bullet-proof vest and I'd totally show you a picture but those are trapped on the crashed hard drive. I highly recommend "Mojo", "Don't Even Trip" and "Sucker" which features a badass Norah Jones.
YESSSSS! This would be the show I was at: "Don't Even Trip" and check out the hotness of that vest! I was totally off to the right of this dude and vaguely remember him recording. Awesome!
