Netflix Re-Cap

Okay, so I've been going through my Netflix queue like nobody's business. I figured I needed to make up for the fact that I spent an entire month watching Doctor Who Seasons 1-4 and Numb3rs on Instant Netflix (heeeee). Quick re-cap of my most recent "flix":

The House Bunny

Suprisingly lame. I love Anna Farris and she was HILARIOUS but the rest of those girls couldn't act themselves out of a paper bag. Ugh Colin Hanks, what have you reduced yourself to? Legally Blonde is still the best heart warming ditz movie.

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

Directed by none other than Guillermo "Pan's Labrynth" del Toro. Visually AMAZING! Plot was "meh" but I do love a good elf story. The movie seemed really short but I think that's only because the plot was really disjointed so they spent too much time on random stuff and not enough time on the main plot line. *sigh* The original Hellboy is still so awesome.

Hot Fuzz

YES! So good! Hot Fuzz was like a wannabe Brit's wet dream of cameos. I've been avoiding this movie for awhile for no other reason than no one I knew saw it so I had no reason to seek it out. I think I might be in love with Simon Pegg. I still haven't seen Shaun of the Dead (I know, I know, WHO am I?) but I think that will definitely be added to the queue. And Spaced, his BBC sci-fi parody show.

Nacho Libre

I love you Mary but I think this movie is better watched with friends who love it, like Napolean Dynamite. Maybe if you were there cracking up and repeating lines I would have been cracking up too. I will say that the "I'm heeedeeeous" line made me guffaw.

So definitely rent Hot Fuzz if you haven't seen it, so worth it. And if you're a HUGE Guillermo del Toro fan, definitely rent Hellboy 2. It's visually worth it.
